Park City

Park City Bear BenchNotes from Park City. I received the wedding ceremony draft from LS – now it’s time to truly rehearse and get down to the nitty gritty. Lately, with all the bustle of people at the Park City place, the trouble has been remembering and writing dreams down before I’m awake, answering questions or having the phone passed to me. This morning I had at first remembered three dreams, which was reduced to just a few bits of detail within minutes. The first was about some large cloud as it expanded. Another began with a long, slender side view of a gladiator helmet, as if from down in the sands of the arena. There were other gladiators on the field as well, and the combatant turned his head to each side, surveying the pitch. The image wasn’t in full detail, but instead built from a mosaic of rectangular pieces. The final dream could have been the same era – it was a bath inside a palace chamber lit by a couple of torches; some ogres were partially-submerged and sprawled about the area, laughing gruffly and talking. One rolled a large boulder down a ramp, which splashed into the tub and steamed and hissed as they exclaimed and laughed. Then another boulder headed down the ramp and the scene repeated with even more hubub. Finally, a light-grey clay head and torso entered the scene from the right, staring at me and bugging out its eyes.
